- Personnel who will be responsible for the assembly, dismantling, alteration, and moving of tallescopes.
- +COURSE CONTENT
- Current Legislation, Regulations and Guidance affecting work at height with tallescopes
- Assembling, altering and dismantling tallescopes incorporating best practice for fall protection
- Hazards affecting the safe use of tallescopes
- Pre-Use Inspection of tallescopes
- How to safely assemble, dismantle and relocate tallescopes without the risk of personal injury to the delegate or others
- Moving procedures with an occupied basket (upgrade kit must fitted prior)
- How to safely rescue an incapacitated person in the basket with the use of the rescue winch (rescue winch must be fitted prior)
- +FINAL QUALIFICATION
- An in-house Photocard and Certificate will be issued to successful delegates who complete the theory and practical sessions and is valid for 5 years

- Face to Face Tallescope Training Course
* Minimum of 4 people required in order to make the course economically viable.
However, a small number of delegates can travel to a venue where another Tallescope course is being conducted by Albion Training Services, subject to prior arrangement.

- Instructor delegate ratio – Maximum of 1:12
- Duration – ½ Day course
- Venue Requirement – A suitable classroom to accommodate 12 delegates for the theory session and an indoor / outdoor area suitable for the practical session with a minimum ree height of 6 metres
- PPE – Suitable head / foot / eye / glove protection during the practical session
- Assessment – Open book course with a pass mark of 80% in the theory (which is multiple choice) and practical sessions, so delegates are encouraged to make notes
- Qualifications & Experience – No formal qualifications or experience are necessary, but it would be beneficial if delegates had a basic understanding of work at height issues
